I am a Special Education teacher. My teaching license includes k-12 Developmental Cognitive Disabilities, Specific Learning Disabilities, and Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as having my Masters of Science in Special Education. I earned both my Bachelors and Masters from Minnesota State University, Mankato. I have taught in the Truman school district since the fall of 2013. Prior to teaching, I worked as a paraprofessional in another school district with preschoolers for several years as well as working with 9-12 grade students with disabilities. While in college, I worked with adults with disabilities. This profession has become a passion for me!

I am married with three grown children and I have three incredible grandkids! In my free time I like to spend time with my family, read, and watch movies.
