Hello, my name is Mrs. Greier.  I teach special education at Truman Public School.  I began teaching second grade at Madelia School and then taught Special Education at St. James school.  After a 10 year leave, I decided to come back to teach at Truman.  I am a Truman graduate.  My husband, children, and even my mother graduated from Truman!

I live on a farm and have many cats and a dog.  In my free-time, I enjoy biking, walking, boating, and reading.  Repurposing is a new hobby of mine.  I love to take something old and turn it into something useful.

I look forward to teaching in Truman!

DISTANT LEARNING PLAN
Packets will be delivered to your homes with information and work to complete.   These packets will be graded.  In addition, on-line learning will be assigned via google classroom.  Please check your emails and google classroom at least twice per day.  I also plan to connect with you individually via Zoom or Google Meet each week. You will be notified of the time.  Again, please check your emails.

Attendance for my students:  Each morning there will be a question for you to respond to in Google Classroom.  Please answer this question daily.  If the question is answered I will mark you present.  If you do not answer the question you will be marked absent.  (You must answer by 11:30) I will also give you reminders if you are schedule to meet with me via Zoom or Google Meet that day.

**Zoom and Google Meet are video communications that allows people to connect with others via the computer.  Here's how it works.  You will receive an email from me inviting you to join my meeting.  When you see this, click on the link and hit join.  You will automatically be connected to me.  You do not need to download an app.  We can then visually see each other.  You can ask me questions, show me your work, or just chat with me!  I look forward to seeing you!!

As mentioned above I will be contacting you and setting up times for virtual meetings via Zoom or Google Meet. Feel free to contact me at anytime with other questions you may have.  I am available from 9:00am-3:00pm.

Although I will not be using the following schedule since I will be connecting individually with students, I am providing the high school schedule.  Make sure you are attending those classes as they will be taking attendance.  Elementary students, you will receive schedules from your teachers.
